Drew Reid
Chief Executive Officer

Drew Reid worked at Morgan Stanley and World Trade Securities before founding Saratoga Energy in 2012. Under his leadership, Saratoga Energy began producing its high-quality, low-cost carbon nanotubes with the help of over $2 million in grants from the U.S. Department of Energy and  the National Science Foundation. Drew completed the renowned Y Combinator program in 2019. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

 

Kevin Yu
Research & Development Chemist

Kevin Yu has a diverse research background in nanoscience, materials science, and biophysics. He earned a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Toronto, where his research focused specifically on the electrocatalytic properties of carbon nanomaterials.

 

Niklas Mundhenk, Ph.D
Research & Development Chemist

Niklas Mundhenk is an interdisciplinary-trained researcher with a strong background in electrochemistry, geochemistry, and materials science. Niklas earned his Ph.D from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) in 2013 before moving to California, where he conducted postdoctoral research on high-temperature corrosion at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
